Common questions
How do I connect my store to ACE?
Shopify and WooCommerce connect through their ACE plugin, which you authenticate with an ACE API key:
- Shopify: install the Agentic Commerce Engine app from the Shopify App Store and paste your key on the Connect screen. See Set up on Shopify.
- WooCommerce: install the Agentic Commerce Engine plugin from WordPress.org and paste your key under Agentic Commerce Engine → Connection. See Set up on WordPress.
- Any other platform: upload a product feed or point ACE at a feed URL.
Where do I get my API key?
Sign in at ace.authoritas.com and open API Keys in the left menu, or Settings → Developer console → Keys. The full key is shown once, so copy it straight into the app or plugin. See Find your API key.
Does ACE change my products automatically?
No. Every AI suggestion waits in Review as a before-and-after comparison, and nothing is written to your store until you approve it. Applied changes can be reverted.
What does it cost?
New accounts include free credits. On Shopify, the app includes 1,000 free AI credits every month, and additional credits are 0.01 USD each, billed on your Shopify invoice. See Credits and usage.
Do I need WooCommerce for the WordPress plugin?
WooCommerce is optional. Without it, AI-crawler analytics and schema output still work. Install WooCommerce to unlock product sync, enrichment, review, and product feeds.
