Using ACE

Set up on Shopify

Install the Agentic Commerce Engine app from the Shopify App Store, connect it with your ACE API key, and start optimizing your products.

The Agentic Commerce Engine app runs inside your Shopify admin. It syncs your catalog to ACE, generates AI product content, and lets you approve every change before it reaches your store. Nothing is written to a product without your approval.

1. Install the app

Install Agentic Commerce Engine from the Shopify App Store. It opens embedded inside your Shopify admin, under Apps.

2. Connect it with your ACE API key

When the app first opens it is not connected yet. Click Connect to ACE, then paste your ACE API key into the ACE API key field and click Connect.

Your key stays encrypted in your Shopify admin and never leaves it. If you do not have a key yet, follow Find your API key, or use the Where do I find my API key? link on the Connect screen.

New to ACE? Create an account first. New accounts include free credits, and the onboarding wizard can mint a key for you and hand it straight to the app.

3. Choose a plan

After connecting, pick a plan on the Shopify-hosted pricing page. ACE uses Shopify billing, so charges appear on your normal Shopify invoice:

  • 1,000 AI credits are included free every month. Additional credits are 0.01 USD each.
  • Click Review and approve the plan to activate it.
  • You can also Continue without a plan and browse everything first. Actions that spend credits stay paused until a plan is active.

4. Sync your catalog

The app pushes your Shopify products to ACE so enrichment has something to work with. The first sync starts automatically after you connect, with a live progress bar. You can run it again anytime from the dashboard Sync now button.

5. Enrich and review

  1. Open Products, select the products you want, and choose Enrich selected. Pick the content types (for example Product Title, Product Description, SEO title and description) and start enrichment.
  2. Open Review. Every AI suggestion waits here as a before-and-after comparison.
  3. Approve a suggestion to apply it to Shopify. Each row shows exactly where the change lands, with a View in Shopify admin link, and applied changes can be reverted.

The product title and description appear on the product itself. The SEO title and description land in the product's Search engine listing section in your Shopify admin.

6. Turn on the storefront app embed

To publish structured data and storefront blocks (Product JSON-LD, the IRL scenario card, and more) to your live theme, enable the app embed. Open Schema in the app, or use the Turn on the storefront app embed banner on the dashboard, then click Enable in theme editor, toggle the embed on, and save.

The Product JSON-LD embed reads the schema you approved in Review and prints it into your product pages so search engines and AI assistants can read rich product facts. See Schema on your live site for details.
